Running our programs is a community effort and we depend on volunteer support from individuals, families, churches and groups.

Food Bank • Weekdays • 9am-1:30pm Help pack food and unload boxes.
The Nashville Diaper Connection Sort and package donated diapers.
Mobile Meals • Weekdays Deliver hot, nutritious meals and a friendly visit to seniors and home bound individuals living in West Nashville.
Senior Social Activities • Thursdays Visit with seniors and assist with activities and outings.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) • January-April Provide free tax preparation to households making less than $64,000 a year.
School Supplies Drive • August Sort and pack donated school supplies for children in need.
Halloween Trunk-or-Treat • Late October Help pass out candy and assist with our community haunted house.
Christmas House • December Set up St. Luke's Christmas House or help families select donated gifts.
After School Program • Weekdays • 3:30pm-5:30pm Help mentor and invest in children with Preston Taylor Ministries.
Preschool • Weekdays • 6:30am-5:30pm Read stories, play games, clean toys, create bulletin boards, host a monthly birthday or holiday celebration or check out library books to parents.
Administrative Support • Weekdays • 8:30am–5:00pm Answer phones, greet visitors, stuff envelopes and organize materials.
Bishop’s Barbeque Annual Fundraiser Assist with our annual barbeque fundraiser by staffing the event or serving on the event committee.

All volunteers will need to complete the application, waiver, and background. Volunteers age 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers age 16-18, must sign the consent form.
