We joyfully serve seniors.
Free hot, nutritious lunches are delivered by volunteers to low-income seniors and disabled West Nashville residents. The program provides not only nutritional assistance but also an opportunity to check on those who may not otherwise have visitors.
The Senior Club
The Senior Club offers weekly social and recreational opportunities for West Nashville seniors. Activities include shopping, lunch outings, bingo parties, crafts, and more.
The Commodity Food Program improves the diets of those age 60 and up with nutritious USDA foods. St. Luke’s ensures that West Nashville seniors receive their monthly supplements by providing free delivery of commodities for those who need help getting their monthly supplements home.
Thanksgiving Senior Luncheon
Each November, St. Luke’s hosts a luncheon for seniors to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Adopt a Senior Christmas Program
Donors can also “adopt” a senior and purchase Christmas gifts for them. The program is free and open to individual 60 and over living in the 37209 zipcode. Seniors pick up their gifts at a holiday Bingo party.
St. Luke’s senior services manager offers referrals to resources in the community for seniors in need of support. For more information or to sign up for any senior programs, contact Tiffany Bennett at (615)324-8366 or email@example.com.
